depleting source, sinks, and wealth spread thin. a unique situation brings us to see the malthusian catastrophe. when fires raze deliberate actions must be made. rebound to save future endeavors. "freedom in a commons brings ruin to all." the paradigm stays stagnant when it's long overdue. where did the moral compass go? searching in the dark while we foul the nest. problems. we share the same three things. our sisters are starving. our brothers are begging. crisis. we've lost the things we need. our sisters are dying. our brothers are bleeding.

the future, a life with a prosperous locus compromised. all in the name of capital gain. the pillars of progress tear up the old growths. the mountains listen in agony and horror. and nothing stops the ambush. the imperial seed has ripened and blossomed, spreading the seeds of moral decay. an overwhelming desire to conquer and control, building walls around; tightens shackles around wilderness. neverending decimation. life collapse. but i will continue to dismantle the state.

he took his life, conflicted from all the conflated lies, the dragon still laying beneath the ground, waiting to spew out venom. then one day, engulfed in flames, dying with nothing else to say, breaking the trust that was given plain, no remorse from the ones who were blamed. who governs when plans are made in secrecy? who defends the ones who are vulnerable? gas fractures flesh as the beast flees from fire, escapes into hearts and minds. venom consumes goodwill, tyrant turned to vices to cease unending pain. completely. once greed consumes need and innocence is strangled, we all descend into war.

There is something purely authentic and honest about Infant Island's music. These songs are substantial in their impact that go deep under the surface. The sound mix is everywhere (track 3 on headphones?!?!) with some of the slower nuanced moments giving needed space for maximum effect when the violent intensity hits. But on career highlight "Awoken," they leave nothing behind. A must hear song from an increasingly important band.
